A Gift From Granny

It's always great when you receive a gift from Granny.

When I got home from work on Friday there was a package waiting for me.  Of course, I knew what was in it and who it was from.
Yellow lily bulbs from Granny.

I'm hoping that the sun finally comes out today so I can get them planted.

Thank you, Granny.

  1. You're most welcome, Ed. The original bulbs came from Cheryl in Chicago, who seems to have given up blogging (http://cherylsgardengoodies.wordpress.com/). I hope these "children" of the originals provide you with as much beauty and enjoyment as Cheryl's have given me.

  2. Hi Ed,
Oh I've had a 'gift from Granny' too! I can't say when or what, but Granny sent me a gift all the way over to here in New Zealand. She is one determined lady eh? I think you should amend your post as clearly 'GRANNY IS THE GIFT'! Her kindness is 'international' now, Lol. Clearly we are all blessed by knowing such a lovely kind and caring lady.

Love your post Ed, and your blog!
