Harvest Monday

This weeks harvest is smaller thanks to the rain.  A few thunderstorms and the tomatoes have been splitting for the first time this year.

Above, all dwarf tomatoes, 'Golden Dwarf Champion', 'New Big Dwarf' which is the large pink and 'Rozalinda'.
Above, the last of the 'Gonzales' cabbage, a chocolate and and orange  bell pepper, 'Victor','Black Cherry' and 'Snowberry' tomatoes, 'Tennessee Spice' peppers and 'Slenderette', 'Roc D'Or' and 'Velour' filet beans.
Above, a preview of next weeks harvest, 'Caserta' squash.
Above, 'Trionfo Violetto' pole bean flower.

Harvest Monday is hosted by Daphne's Dandelions.

  1. I just love that chocolate bell pepper! I have never grown a dark pepper like that. How do you like the flavor?

  2. The chocolate bells have a great taste I like it better than a red 'North Star'. They win the taste test so far.

  3. The chocolate bell pepper has been on my list of things to grow for a few years now. Maybe I'll finally pick up some seeds and try my hand at them.

The pole bean flowers look gorgeous! I hope that the resulting beans taste great, too!

  4. Ben- The chocolate bell peppers are definately worth a try.

The benas should taste great since they will have missed the extreme heat.
