I've been gardening for pretty much my entire life, planting my first seeds when I was three. Let's just say that was over forty years ago :) Most of my gardening was done in central New Jersey, but since 2004 it's been in western Maryland. I don't actually live on the mountain, but at the base of it... a fellows allowed to take some license:)
Flowers have always been my first love, but for the last few years vegetables have been increasing in importance. Right now my growing area is small, VERY small. It consists of three 4'x6' beds in the corner of the back yard. It may be small, but it amazes me at how much I crammed into that small space!
