Is it Spring Yet?

We had torrential rains all day Sunday. I don't know how many times I went to the kitchen window to stare at the vegetable area trying to come with this year's layout.
When I got up this morning, this is the scene that was waiting for me looking out the same window. This coming weekend I was planning on turning ove the soil and planting peas. We'll see if that is going to happen...

  1. We had rain all day yesterday as well. We woke up to an icey deck...that's it.

I have to say that your photo is beautiful! I think that there will only be two nights of below freezing temps and hopefully you will be able to turn over the soil this weekend and plant your peas.

  2. And here I am, complaining because the sun went behind the clouds and I got too cold to work outside. At least I can see (and dig) my dirt! But, for what it's worth, we're supposed to get rain every day this week, so I'm happy I accomplished the little I did today. I hope you get some good pea planting weather real soon.

  3. Robin,
Doesn't look like I'll be doing much digging this weekend. Forecast is for another soaking rain on Thurs and Fri. At least maybe i'll be able to finish my garden plans.

    Annie's Granny,
I would have been complaining about the cold too, LOL. Rain is fore cast at the end of the week, but I have till St. Patties day to get the pea's in.
