Oh, I am so enjoying the different varieties *someone special* sent me! I'm already looking forward to planting the summer mix varieties, but for now I just put a mix of all different kinds into a salt shaker and shook the seeds into a large plastic container as a "lettuce nursery". It has taken me 3 years to finally get a crop of it. The pre-sprouting and starting indoors certainly helped.
