I bought one of each, and will fill my "lettuce nursery" with the mixture. I wish they would make it simple and stick to either quarts or cubic feet. I wonder how many quarts are in a cubic foot. It's difficult to make price comparisons! I'...That lettuce looks strangely familiar ;-)<br /><br />I've been just picking the outer leaves, but the mature plants were looking a bit tattered from it so I pulled half of the plants in the main lettuce bed yesterday and replaced them with young seedlings. In a week or so I'll do the same with the other half of that bed. I really need my "nursery" emptied so I can begin seeding the summer mix you sent. <br /><br />Wonder of wonders, Mr. Granny (the man who only likes iceberg lettuce) told me "I'm really beginning to love those salads". Whoopie!
